CHURCH HISTORY
New Christian Fellowship Sanctuary was birth, through the Holy Spirit and directed by Him all the way; based on this spiritual principle, according to His Word, Matthew 25:35 for I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (verse 36 KJV) Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick and ye visited me, I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
The first service was January 4, 2004, in White Bluff, Tennessee, in the Community Center, @ 11:00 a.m. Our first service had about 50 people in attendance. Being in a Community Center was not without problems, because it was a local Community Center, and it was rented out for parties, family reunions, etc.
The following Sunday, we launched our Sunday School classes, one for the adults and one for the youth. We had services every Sunday in the White Bluff Community Center until September 2004. The first Sunday in September 2004 our ministry moved from White Bluff to Promise Land (ST. John Church). We started Outreach Ministry in April 2005, “Spring Give-Away, we gave away clothing, house items; everyone was welcome to come and shop, everything was free, we had music and free, hotdogs, hamburgers, free drinks, water, etc. We do two give-aways per year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall in October.
Thursday night Bible Study and Intercessory Prayer. The New Christian Fellowship Sanctuary is a faith- based, Word Ministry. As the Holy Spirit continued to teach and guide us, we were opened to His leadership. The theme of this Ministry is Romans 10:17: So the faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the Word of God, we believe that the more we hear, read, and study God’s Word, the more our faith will develop into mountain-moving faith Mark 11:22-23.
